Ladies and gents, if you’re looking for the perfect pride hangover cure this Sunday then head down to The Perception at W London for copious amounts of prosecco at their fabulously-fun afternoon tea experience. This Kiki is marvellous!
WHAT’S THE TEA?
It’s a scientific fact, the only way to get over that dreaded hangover feeling is to jump straight back on the wagon. Afternoon teas are proving ever popular of late, as are Sunday brunches giving you the opportunity to re-tox or detox after your pride festivities.
This experience does not disappoint. Based on the electric world of drag, be wowed by the colourful and quirky offering inspired by a drag queen’s make-up box. Presented in a sparkling cosmetics case, delight in discovering a multi-layered offering of edible cosmetics and brightly-bejewelled cakes. Dip into Ageless Queen, a violet sugar-dusted pot of Créme Catalan or sink your teeth into Glitter Ball, a white chocolate-coated lemon and blueberry cake-pop. Add a drop of rose perfume to Red Lip Sync, the chocolate and vanilla Red Velvet roll whilst applying finishing touches of Bronze Up, a decadent layering of crunchy, creamy Oreo cheesecake. Scones are served with lashings of Clotted Night Cream and Lip Jam, whilst runway-ready sandwiches are served on mini-rolls, naturally coloured with turmeric, sumac and chlorophyll.
If that line-up of tasty treats wasn’t mouth-watering enough to tempt you then maybe live entertainment in the form of The Globe Girls will?! That’s right, throughout your Afternoon Tease session, the captivating and hilarious Globe Girls will be dancing their way through some disco classics for your pleasure with some audience participation and fabulous costume changes!
What more could you possibly want to round off pride weekend?!
The event by W London will LOVE OUT LOUD, standing proud in support of LGBTQ+ culture during Pride in London 2019. Book your table here or firstname.lastname@example.org / 0207 758 1060.
